A containment fence is not a physical barrier. It is a device to teach dogs not to leave a predetermined area. Prior training is essential for the system’s optimal effectiveness.
The zone activating the collar is symmetrical on both sides of the wire, so if your dog crosses the wire, he will also be corrected if he wants to get back inside the authorised area.
