Important: this distance varies according to the length of the spool of wire you use and the angle of the receiver collar. The longer the length of wire (max 400m), the shorter is the remote activation distance from the wire by default.
Hold the collar 30cm from the ground and at an angle of approximately 45° (as if your dog was wearing it). Adjust the distance according to the point where you would like the liquid to spray.
Clockwise: you increase the remote activation distance
Anticlockwise: you decrease the remote activation distance
Note: If your dog jumps or climbs over the obstacle, he will have to gather speed: we therefore recommend you increase the remote activation distance. If on the other hand, your dog digs or crawls under the obstacle: we therefore recommend setting the potentiometer at a lower remote activation distance. You must correct the behaviour from the very start.
