I’ve inserted the battery and installed the system, but my dog doesn’t seem to receive the electrostatic stimulations when he approaches the antenna wire (boundary)

1) Does the product require a new battery?

If the device hasn’t been used for several months, or if the collar is used every day, you should replace the battery (purchase a new battery from your local dealer) before contacting our After Sales Service.

Note: Completely remove the battery from the unit during extended periods of non-use, for a longer life span.

2) Is the battery the correct one for the product and is it inserted correctly?

Check that the battery is correctly in place, with the ‘+’ sign to the outside, and that the battery cover is closed properly (for contact with the springs)

3) Is the transmitter connected to the mains?

Note: The transmitter should be installed away from damp. To avoid interference, do not install the transmitter near any electrical appliances (circuit-breaker, immersion heater, washing machine, etc.). Do not allow the antenna wire to lie alongside other electrical or telephone wires.

The green light should always be lit.

If the green light is off: unplug the mains adapter and the antenna wire, check the mains voltage (this should be 230V) and the output voltage of the mains adapter (this should be 12V, more or less 8%).

  1. If this is not the case, change plugs, or → contact our After Sales Service, click here
  2. If the green light is flashing and the transmitter is beeping
  3.  If you can’t hear any beeping sounds

The installation is faulty.

4) Check that you have not installed more than 400m of antenna wire in total

5) Check the collar is working (spray)

Once you have checked the system’s electrical installation and that there is a new battery, activate the installation.

Hold the collar 30cm from the ground and at an angle of approximately 45° (as if your dog was wearing it), then approach the antenna wire.

Continue your approach after the beep zone.

If you can’t hear a ‘crackling’ sound coming from the unit:

If you can hear a ‘crackling’ but nothing comes out: the battery is working

- Have you filled the reservoir? → How can I check the level of liquid? Click here

- There may be too much air inside, in which case, you must ‘bleed’ the product: place the unit upside down and flat on a table, keep your face away from the nozzle that sprays the liquid. Press on the small metal pin at the centre of the filling valve with the tip of a ballpoint pen or the refill canister. Once the air has been removed, refill the device with spray if required, then approach the wire again to test the system.
