How can I check the battery level?

1) Insert the battery as indicated in the instructions

2) Do not fill the reservoir

3) Important: position the unit with the nozzle facing in the opposite direction to you (hold it vertically, with the nozzle to the right), then blow sideways into the small hole at the rear of the unit (= microphone), do not blow straight into the hole. The blowing simulates a dog’s bark.

If you hear a ‘crackling’ sound: the battery is working, you can fill your reservoir and use the collar.

If you do not hear a ‘crackling’ sound: the battery is worn out, replace it with a new Martin Sellier battery of the same type, supplied by your local dealer.

Note: Testing the battery with a voltmeter will not give a reliable result as voltmeters test voltage and not amperage.
